3 BEDROOM SELF CATERING COTTAGE ACCOMMODATION NEAR WINCHESTER.

 

This charming 3-bed cottage with private parking and garden is situated in the heart of the village of Shawford, near to the historic town of Winchester.

Walks along the River Itchen, swimming, fishing and picnic spots are on your doorstep. There is a local pub in Shawford a very short stroll away, or further pubs in the nearby village of Twyford. Winchester is also accessible by foot ( 45 mins) or a short 5 minute train or bus away. London is an hour by train and other local attractions include Marwell Zoo, Peppa Pig World, South Coast, Portsmouth and New Forest.

There is a large open plan Living, Kitchen Dining area. The kitchen is fully equipped, two sofas in the living area and a dining table that seats six.The bedroom downstairs has a king bed and en-suite shower room. There is also a desk to work at, TV and extra small drinks fridge.

Upstairs there is a double room with king sized bed and also a bedroom with twin beds. The bathroom, fully fitted with bath & shower, sits between the bedrooms. Outside you have private garden and your own parking area for two cars.

We enjoyed our short break at The Nest – perfectly located for the historic city of Winchester and Peppa Pig World. The accommodation was clean and well equipped, and whilst we didn’t get to meet Caroline she was very helpful in promptly answering all our questions before we arrived. Can heartily recommend The White Horse in nearby Otterbourne – lovely food and play area for kids.
